Our Footwear Positioning Matrix illustrates how our line is segmented by levels of stability and ride preference. The horizontal axis addresses Levels of Stability and affords three distinct categories; Neutral Support for runners with a biomechanically correct and effi cient gait; Moderate Support for runners with mild to moderate amounts of pronation requiring stability; and Maximum Support for runners with severe pronation that require a high level of motion control in their footwear.
The vertical axis of the Matrix addresses “Cushioning Preference” and creates three distinct levels of midsole performance; Performance Ride for the faster runner or racer with a very effi cient gait who prefers the performance benefi ts provided by lightweight footwear; Responsive Ride for the runner who prefers a quicker more energy effi cient response that enhances a faster more effi cient gait; and a Plush Cushioned Ride for the runner who needs (or wants) the added protection and comfort provided
by a plush ride helping those who require maximum protection.
Through this unique approach, Etonic is able to build footwear that meets the specifi c biomechanical needs of the runner while catering to their unique running style and preferences.
